Loosely coupled services, API gateways and containerised deployments designed for high availability and painless releases.
At a glance
Microservices are an answer to an organisational problem, not a default. If a single team deploys a single application a few times a week, a well-structured monolith is usually cheaper to run and easier to debug.
When the split genuinely helps — separate scaling needs, independent release cycles, a compliance boundary — we design the seams carefully: API contracts, shared data ownership, queueing and a rollback path for every service.
We also do the unglamorous infrastructure work that makes any architecture reliable: container builds, CI/CD, health checks, centralised logs, alerts and tested restores.
A typical scope for this service. Yours will be narrower — that is the point of a written scope.

Incremental extraction behind stable contracts, so the monolith keeps serving traffic while pieces move out.
Docker images, compose or Kubernetes manifests, and environment parity from laptop to production.
Automated tests, image builds and deploys with approvals, so releases stop being an evening event.
Structured logs, metrics, uptime checks and alerts routed to the people who can actually fix the problem.
Health checks, rolling deploys and database migration rules that do not require a maintenance window.
Real projects with real screenshots, the challenge, the stack and the outcome.
A custom transport platform that replaced spreadsheets and phone calls with live fleet tracking, calendar-based load scheduling and automatic driver updates.
A retrieval-augmented proposal generator that drafts tailored RFP responses from a company's own past proposals and client requirements.
The questions we get most often about this work. If yours is not here, email and we will answer personally.
Often not. We will say so if a modular monolith fits your team size and traffic. The right question is whether independent deployment and scaling are worth the operational cost — not whether the architecture sounds modern.
In most cases yes. We use a strangler pattern: route a slice of traffic to the new service, compare behaviour, then widen. The old path stays available until the new one has proven itself.
AWS if you need its breadth, a plain VPS with Docker and Nginx if you want predictable costs. We have run production workloads on both, and we will not sell you Kubernetes for three containers.
An architecture review starts around USD 1,500. A decomposition or infrastructure build typically runs USD 5,000–20,000 depending on the number of services and the state of the existing code.
Yes, as a monthly retainer covering monitoring, patching, backups, deploy support and a defined response time for incidents.
